Getting numerous calls from a company is nothing new to me. I get 5-6 marketing and survey calls on a daily basis and chooses to ignore most of them. But after receiving a few calls from this number I gave in. I participated in the lifestyle survey. When the calls continued even after this I decided to take a more serious action. I found the grievance cell number of Simply Outbound, the company conducting the survey, and asked them to stop calling me. They assured me that I will receive no further calls from their end. After that I did not get any calls from this number.

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number.
Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. They even gave their grievance cell number so that anyone who does not wish to be contacted by them can lodge a complaint there.
After gathering this information, the company seemed trustworthy to me. And so, I took the survey the next time they gave me a call. It was a collection of household questions such as the maker of my washing machine, whether or not I own a dog etc. The questions were basically harmless. And the next time I

Irritated – that’s what I was when I started getting calls from this number. But soon enough they made me angry. No matter how many times you get a call from them, they seem to keep calling back. It was getting on my nerves. I was determined to put an end to it for good. It was then I found a grievance cell number on the web where I can lodge a complaint against this non-stop calling.
