A new report from Seattle startup Hiya highlights the ongoing problem of phone fraud and spam calls. The report found that during the first quarter of this year, nearly 25% of all unknown calls globally were flagged as spam or fraud — that’s 73.6 million per day.

Given this number in reply to a response from a dating site. Stated it was her mobile. No indication of any charges for calling. Faced with a bill. Mobile provider contacted due to scam and victim of fraud.
