Is API available?

Spam calls are annoying – suppose you are taking an important class or in a meeting and your phones start buzzing. You come out to take that call and realize it was just a promotional call or spam!
Thai police announced Wednesday they have busted a gang that operated call centers to deceive elderly U.S. citizens into wiring them money, netting more than 3 billion baht ($87 million).
Phoned me, but on picking up the phone just went "do-dah, do-dah, etc". Then after this a woman's voice came saying "please try again later, please try again later, etc". Then there was just an ascending and descending tone. Then nothing for about 5 mins until after a total of 10 mins the phone cut off.
I assume that with the attempts to make me put the phone down it was from a company set up to make calls to ascertain live phone numbers.
If we all block their phone lines for 10 mins like I did it may have some effect... ?
